A young congregation just completed its first permanent structure on a rural site in the rolling oak-covered hills north of Sherman. A limited budget dictated straightforward forms executed in common materials of metal, split-faced concrete block, and cedar lap siding. Rectilinear mono-pitched forms are composed in a park-like setting along the crest of the site, framing spectacular views to the north.
